This is the worst office out of all Liberty locations and we found out they were under investigation for fraud after they messed up our paperwork. Do not go here. The lady screwed up our paperwork, she put me down as the worker when the W-2 clearly says my husband's name then wouldn't change it and told us we are the same person and it doesn't matter. BECAUSE I MADE THEM CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE Christian Cortez held our paperwork 1 week after lying to us saying they sent our paperwork. After 1 week he called saying we needed bank statements. We have been filing over 30 years so if we gave them a W-2 why are they asking for bank statements 1 week after we filed? The truth is they messed up on our taxes and didn't know how to fix it. We were there 5 hours while they tried to fix it then lied saying everything was OK when it wasn't. Finally, someone fixed the issue but they tried to charge us more for their mistakes but couldn't because they had already entered the amount on the paper's. They told us if we didn't pay then they wouldn't submit our taxes. After making some phone calls and going above them, they submitted our taxes. Then they said they don't give the $50 anymore but I saw them give someone else the money and we questioned it and he said Oh, they've been coming here for over 5 years. Do not trust them. The lady who messed up our paperwork didn't even put her name on the paperwork. She fraudulently put someone else's name, a guy's name and wouldn't give us her name. So they covering up for each other. She's the only worker there until 5pm. African American female, sits in the desk in the back to your left. Don't let her do your taxes if you decide to make the mistake by using this office. ALL LIBERTY OFFICES WERE OR STILL ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION. YOU MIGHT GET AUDITED IF YOU GO THERE.

A rush job. Didn't find me any money. I went online at home and within 20 minutes I found thousands! She also couldn't figure out how to add my wife to my return or itemize a simple 1099. I found over $5,000 in deductions. I also was never asked about charitable donations. I donate every week to my church, amongst other places. I brought my SSI papers for when I wasn't working. Bringing my income up by $15,000. She didn't look at it. I brought my tax documents from my HMO. She ignored it. Which would cause a penalty on me.

I previously posted a positive review of this bussiness. You have to be out of your mind to go do your tax at liberty. My state tax return has been printed since April 23rd. I am being bounced between Archer and Hillside. Totally unacceptable. I don't think they deserve one star. Never seen anything like it. Unprofessional.
